Kander Announces Opposition to Legislation Preventing Military Voters from Mailing in Absentee Ballots

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Missouri Secretary of State candidate Jason Kander today announced his opposition to legislation that would prohibit all Missourians, including military personnel stationed abroad and across the U.S., from mailing in their absentee ballots. Kander, an army veteran who volunteered for deployment and served in Afghanistan, said the bill would make it nearly impossible for active military personnel to participate in Missouri elections.
